About the game

Story

Merlin the wizard once a close ally of Arthur has betrayed him and taken rule over his kingdom, Fight Back and reclaim the kingdom as their last hope. Fight through hordes of enemies and learn the lore of the land, Become stronger and finally defeat Merlin

A story based on a twist with the story of King Arthur infused with a diablo style gameplay

Reputation System

Inside this game you may find a variety of NPCs, some of which you may interact with throughout multiple levels, be sure not to attack them as a reputation system will come into play and consequences will follow i.e. the shopkeeper will raise his prices if you decide to attack him.

NPCS

All of the NPCs in this game were created by me, they have all been made so any level designer could use them due to the easy swapping out of dialogue and conditions inside the editors detail menu, this allowed our game to have story telling and each character could feel alive.

Interactable World Objects

Although they are not the most technological advancements all games need interactable world objects, this is where I have come in and made Breakable Barrels, Lore Tablets, Coin Drops, Respawn Statues, Chests and a lot more inside this game jam, every small piece makes the world feel a little bit more alive and alot less static.

User Interface Functionality

The hot bar along side the shop were created by me and are the teams own take on a Diablo/World of Warcraft style, This theme of dark hot bars and shop UI fits well with our games tone and setting, the functionality of it works and gives a little bit of an on screen animation when items such as potions, gold or keys are acquired.
